Happy Birthday to Gary Fontana!

If you have ever stepped into Frank Jewelers, you have most likely met our co-owner, Gary Fontana. Gary is constantly smiling. An optimist at heart, he has always believed that providing amazing customer service and the best quality jewelry would lead his business to success.

Mr. Fontana has had two jobs in his life—a paper route as a kid and Frank Jewelers. He didn’t know that stepping into Frank Jewelers was going to become a lifelong career. Gary started working behind the counter at Frank Jewelers when he was 16. While working behind the counter, he took a liking to Debra, one of his co-workers. They fell in love while working side by side and married soon after.

When the jewelry store went up for sale in 1992, they saw an opportunity to pursue their passion. They wanted to keep offering beautiful jewelry to their community but also to make a real difference by helping people celebrate life's special moments. Their aim was to build personal connections, commemorate important milestones, and create lasting memories, all while steering clear of the impersonal, cookie-cutter corporate approach.

Gary and Debra made changes so that their employees were able to tailor each experience to fit the needs of the clients. The Fontanas' commitment to putting the customer first and creating a welcoming environment has established Frank Jewelers as the best place to buy jewelry in the area.

Gary’s unwavering belief in crafting the perfect customer experience shows through in the care that he gives everyone he works with. Whether it’s his children, employees, or customers who are lucky enough to spend time with him, everyone he meets walks away with a smile on their faces and a pep in their step.

When Mr. Fontana isn’t behind the counter or exploring trade shows to find the newest and best in the jewelry world, you can find him enjoying his free time with his family. He loves to dote on his children and grandson. Gary often spends time at their home in Florida, where he enjoys golfing and relaxing with his wife Debra.

We’re wishing the happiest 60th birthday to Gary Fontana, the man who has made all our lives a little more brilliant.
