Bubinga wood is a hardwood and It is often referred to as ?African Rosewood? It is dense and strong which makes it very durable and long lasting. Sourced in Western Africa (Gabon, Congo, and Angola). The color / appearance of Bubinga ranges from a pinkish red to a darker reddish brown with darker purple or black streaks. It is frequently seen with a variety of figure, including pommeled, flamed, waterfall, quilted, mottled etc. Therefore, the color and pattern of each piece can vary depending on the lot of wood purchased for the production of this product. To Seal and protect the wood we apply a weather protective wood oil, the color of the oil is transparent, so the color maintains its original wood color.
